Richard could barely breathe.
For years, he believed his son was unlucky.

Richard read the final line.
“Symptoms increased after unauthorized intervention.”
His hands shook.
“Who signed this?”
Sophia looked away.
Richard saw the signature.
Colin Dray.

Then Richard’s phone rang.
It was the security team.
“Mr. Harrison.”
“We found Lily.”
Richard immediately stood.
“Where?”
A pause.
Then the officer answered.
“She is at an abandoned medical facility outside the city.”
Richard grabbed his coat.
“I’m coming.”
But before he left, Sophia stopped him.
“Richard.”
He turned.
“Be careful.”
“Colin is not working alone.”
Richard looked at her.
“Who else?”
Sophia’s face became pale.
“The person who funded everything.”
Richard waited.
Sophia whispered one name.
“Your brother.”
Richard froze.
His brother.
The man he trusted.
The man who helped him start his company.
The man who disappeared from business years ago.
