Richard Harrison had faced competitors who wanted to destroy his company.

Public attacks.
Betrayals from business partners.
But nothing prepared him for the truth on that screen.

It was someone who had been invited into his home.
Someone who had watched Ethan grow up.
Someone who had called him family.
Richard stared at the frozen image.
“No…”
His voice was barely a whisper.
Lily looked at him.
“You know him?”
Richard did not answer.
Because he already knew.
The person in the video was Michael Grant.
The doctor who had treated Ethan since he was a baby.
The man Richard trusted with his son’s life.
The man who always told him there was nothing more they could do.
Thomas watched his reaction.
“Funny, isn’t it?”
“You spent millions searching for answers.”
“But the person hiding them was sitting beside your son’s bed every day.”
Richard’s face became cold.
“Where is Michael?”
Thomas smiled.
“You still think you are in control.”
Richard stepped forward.
“You took a child.”
“You endangered my son.”
“You destroyed families.”
His voice became sharper.
“And you think I won’t find him?”
Thomas laughed.
“You still don’t understand.”
“This was never about Ethan.”
Richard stopped.
“What does that mean?”
Thomas looked toward Lily.
“It was about proving that people with money decide who deserves to live.”
The words disgusted Richard.
“You used children to prove a point?”
Thomas shook his head.
“No.”
“I used children to expose the truth.”
Before Richard could respond…
The lights inside the building suddenly went out.
A loud alarm started.
Security officers raised their flashlights.
Then they heard a sound.
A door opening.
Someone was leaving.
Richard turned.
“Don’t let him escape.”
The officers rushed after Thomas.
But Thomas was already gone.
