When the lights returned…
Lily was gone.
Richard turned around instantly.
“Where is she?”
Nobody answered.
The security officers searched the area.
The crowd had disappeared.
The airport was chaos again.
But one thing was clear.
Someone had taken Lily.
Richard looked at the empty floor where she had been sitting.
The same girl who saved his son.
The same girl who exposed his trusted assistant.
The same girl who knew a secret nobody else knew.
“Find her.”
His voice was cold.
Every security officer moved.
Colin was taken into custody.
But before leaving, he smiled.
Richard noticed.
“You’re smiling?”
Colin looked at him.
“You have no idea what you just started.”
Richard stepped closer.
“What does that mean?”
Colin said nothing.
The police searched his belongings.
Inside his briefcase, they found documents.
Medical records.
Financial transfers.
And one name repeated again and again.
Lily Carter.
Richard stared at the papers.
Why would Colin have files about a seven-year-old girl?
Then his phone rang.
Unknown number.
He answered.
A distorted voice spoke.
“Mr. Harrison.”
“Your son was never the target.”
Richard’s heart stopped.
“What did you do with Lily?”
The voice laughed softly.
“That girl knows the truth.”
“What truth?”
A pause.
Then the voice whispered:
“The truth about who really saved Ethan years ago.”
The call ended.
Richard looked toward the dark airport window.
For the first time in years…
The billionaire felt powerless.
Because the little girl who saved his son…
