Rain hit the windows of the Whitmore mansion.
The wedding had been canceled.
The guests refused to leave.
Everyone wanted answers.

A man entered.

“I kept the evidence.”
Eleanor’s expression changed.
“What evidence?”
Daniel smiled sadly.
“The evidence that proves everything.”
He placed the folder on the table.
Inside were documents.

Everything Eleanor had tried to erase.
Sofia looked at her father.
“Why didn’t you come back?”
Daniel looked at Eleanor.
“Because she made sure I couldn’t.”

Then Daniel looked at Sofia.
