Five years earlier, Daniel discovered Victoria had been secretly transferring money from his company.
When he confronted her, she threatened him.
“You think anyone will believe you?” Victoria’s recorded voice said.
“You’re going to disappear.”
The courtroom listened as Daniel begged.
“Stay away from my daughter.”
Then the recording ended with a loud crash.
Everyone looked at Victoria.

“He was never supposed to survive.”
