Chapter 12 - The Billionaire’s Final Fight

Victoria had lost many things in her life.

Her parents.

Her best friend.

Years she could never get back.

But she had never felt fear like this.

Because Maya was gone.

The little girl who walked into her life asking for leftovers…

Was now in the hands of the people who destroyed her family.

Victoria searched the basement.

Nothing.

No door.

No window.

No way out.

Daniel looked frustrated.

“They planned this.”

Victoria looked at Isabella.

“Where would he take her?”

Isabella’s face became pale.

“I know.”

Everyone turned.

“Where?”

Isabella hesitated.

Then whispered:

“The old Harrington factory.”

Victoria remembered.

The abandoned factory outside Madrid.

The place where her father built the company.

The place Alexander controlled.

They arrived thirty minutes later.

The factory was dark.

Empty.

Silent.

Too silent.

Victoria entered first.

“Alexander!”

Her voice echoed.

No answer.

Then a light turned on.

Maya was sitting in a chair.

Safe.

But scared.

Victoria moved forward.

A man appeared behind her.

Alexander.

“Stop.”

Victoria froze.

Maya looked at her.

“Victoria!”

“I’m here.”

Alexander smiled.

“You really came.”

Victoria stared.

“Let her go.”

“No.”

“Why?”

Alexander looked around the old factory.

“Because this place belongs to my family.”

Victoria shook her head.

“No.”

She looked at Maya.

“It belongs to everyone you hurt.”

Alexander became angry.

“You have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Victoria stepped forward.

“I know exactly.”

She held up a small device.

Alexander froze.

“What is that?”

Victoria smiled.

“A backup.”

Daniel’s voice came through the speaker.

“You’re live.”

Alexander’s expression changed.

The entire conversation was being broadcast.

Victoria had planned for this.

Because she finally understood.

Powerful people didn’t fear anger.

They feared being exposed.

Alexander shouted:

“You think people will believe you?”

Victoria looked at him.

“No.”

A pause.

“But they will believe you.”

She pressed a button.

The factory screens turned on.

Documents appeared.

Videos.

Financial records.

Evidence Isabella had collected for years.

Alexander stared.

Impossible.

Victoria looked at him.

“My father built this company.”

Her voice became stronger.

“You tried to destroy everything he believed in.”

Maya watched silently.

Then she said:

“You hurt my mom.”

Everyone stopped.

Alexander looked at her.

The little girl stood up.

“You made her scared.”

Her voice shook.

“But she still protected me.”

Victoria looked at Maya.

And realized something.

The smallest person in the room was the bravest.

Outside the factory…

Police sirens approached.

Alexander looked toward the door.

“How?”

Victoria smiled.

“Daniel.”

Alexander looked furious.

“You planned all of this?”

Victoria shook her head.

“No.”

She looked at Maya.

“She taught me.”

As officers entered…

Alexander was arrested.

Adrian was arrested hours later after trying to escape.

The truth finally came out.

But Victoria knew something was still unfinished.

Because after everything was over…

Maya asked one question.

“Am I going to lose you too?”

Victoria looked at the little girl.

And answered:

“Never.”

But neither of them knew…

The biggest surprise was still waiting.

Because hidden among Isabella’s final documents…

May you like

Was one last letter.

Addressed only to Maya.
