Chapter 14 - The Fall Of The Rossi Empire

The recording changed everything.

For years, Anthony Rossi believed he controlled the truth.

He believed secrets belonged to whoever had the most power.

But he made one mistake.

He underestimated the people he tried to destroy.

Maria.

Clare.

And Leo.

The recording contained everything.

The kidnapping.

The fake death.

The hidden documents.

The plan to control the Rossi empire.

The betrayal of an entire family.

Anthony tried to leave.

But Daniel blocked him.

“You used me.”

Anthony looked at him.

“You were always disposable.”

Daniel laughed bitterly.

“And you wonder why nobody trusts you.”

Police arrived before sunrise.

For the first time in decades, the Rossi mansion was surrounded by people who were not afraid.

Anthony Rossi was arrested.

Victor Rossi disappeared before authorities could find him.

Daniel confessed everything after realizing Anthony planned to sacrifice him.

The empire that had looked untouchable for generations finally cracked.

Weeks later, Leo stood inside the Rossi estate library.

The same room where everything began.

The same room where Clare sang the forgotten song.

But now it felt different.

The darkness was gone.

The secrets were exposed.

Clare entered.

“You’re still here.”

Leo smiled slightly.

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

“I thought powerful people usually leave after they win.”

Leo looked around.

“I don’t think I won.”

“What do you mean?”

“I lost twenty years with my mother.”

“I lost a family I thought I knew.”

“I lost people I trusted.”

Clare looked at him.

“But you found the truth.”

Leo nodded.

“And I found people who actually cared about it.”

Maria moved back into the Rossi estate.

Not as a hidden secret.

Not as a woman who needed protection.

As the woman who belonged there.

Lena also returned.

For the first time, Leo had a real family.

Not a perfect one.

But a real one.

One evening, Leo found Clare cleaning the library again.

He smiled.

“You know you don’t work here anymore.”

Clare looked confused.

“What?”

“You don’t have to clean.”

She laughed.

“Old habits.”

Leo looked at her.

“You changed my life.”

Clare shook her head.

“No.”

“I only sang a song.”

Leo smiled.

“Sometimes one small song can destroy a lifetime of lies.”

But that night, Maria found something hidden inside the old library.

Another envelope.

Another letter.

One that nobody had ever seen.

She brought it to Leo.

His expression changed when he saw the handwriting.

His grandfather.

Inside were only five words.

The Rossi story is not over.
