Chapter 6 - The Missing Daughter
Daniel searched every corner of the house.
Nothing.
No signs.
No messages.
Only one thing remained.
A small piece of paper on Emma’s bed.
Three words were written on it.
“Stop looking, Daniel.”
His heart dropped.
Someone had taken his daughter.
Melissa collapsed.
“This is my fault.”
Daniel looked at her.
“What do you know?”
Melissa cried.
“He warned me this would happen.”
“Who?”
She hesitated.
Then said a name.
“Adrian.”
Daniel recognized it.
A businessman who had lost everything after Daniel exposed his company’s corruption.
The man had promised revenge.
But Daniel never imagined he would target his family.
Then Victor called.
“Daniel.”
His voice was serious.
“I know where Emma is.”
Daniel grabbed his jacket.
“Where?”
Victor paused.
“But if you go there…”
