Chapter 3 - The Hidden Messages
Daniel started investigating everything.
He checked security cameras.
He checked phone records.
He checked every strange detail he had ignored before.
Then he found something.
A deleted camera file.
Recorded during one of his business trips.
The footage showed Melissa entering the living room.
She was not alone.
The same man followed her.
They were laughing.
They looked comfortable.
Like they had done this many times.
Daniel watched the screen without blinking.
Then another file appeared.
A message.
Sent from Melissa’s phone.
“I can’t keep hiding you forever.”
Daniel felt his hands shaking.
But before he could open the next message…
The computer screen suddenly went black.
Someone had remotely deleted everything.
Someone was watching him.
Daniel slowly turned around.
