Chapter 3 — The Lawyer From The Freight Elevator

Chapter 3 — The Lawyer From The Freight Elevator
The lawyer's name was David Carter.
He had spent thirty years protecting wealthy families.
But when he opened Irene's blue folder...
Even he looked shocked.
"You still have the original?"
Irene nodded.
"Mr. Sterling told me never to give this to anyone unless his son discovered the truth himself."
David looked at Billy.
"And he discovered it because of your son."
Irene smiled sadly.
"Billy doesn't know what he did."
Inside the folder was a letter.
A final letter written by Henry Sterling.
A letter addressed to Lawrence.
David carefully unfolded it.
But before he could read it...
The freight elevator opened.
Lawrence Sterling stepped out.
Everyone stopped.
Irene immediately moved in front of Billy.
Lawrence looked at the folder.
Then at the lawyer.
"Give me that."
David didn't move.
"Mr. Sterling..."
"I said give it to me."
David looked directly at him.
"Your father specifically said not to."
