Chapter 19 - THE REBIRTH

The lobby of Vance Tower was dead quiet.

The clock on the main security wall read: 11:57 PM.

The twelve board members sat in the first-floor glass lounge, staring at their phones in total despair.

"It's over," Mr. Harrison said, burying his face in his hands.

"Three minutes left."

"The automatic banking system will execute the foreclosure process at midnight."

"We are bankrupt."

Suddenly, the glass entrance doors shattered completely inward.

The high-powered motorcycle skidded across the smooth marble floor of the lobby, coming to a stop right in front of the board members.

Seraphina helped Isabella step down from the bike.

Both sisters were soaked in rain, covered in dirt and blood.

Isabella was limping heavily, supported by Seraphina's shoulder.

The board members jumped up from their chairs in utter shock.

"Miss Vance?!" Harrison gasped.

"What happened to you?!"

Seraphina pulled out the cracked smartphone.

00 HOURS : 01 MINUTE : 05 SECONDS.

"Isabella! Your face!" Seraphina urged, holding the cracked screen up.

Isabella forced her eyes open, looking directly into the cracked front camera of the phone.

BIOMETRIC FACIAL SCAN RECOGNIZED.

SECONDARY CONFIRMATION APPROVED.

80,000,000 USD TRANSFERRED TO VANCE ENTERPRISE CENTRAL OPERATING ACCOUNT.

A loud, sharp electronic chime rang through the entire lobby system.

Every single laptop, monitor, and phone screen in the building lit up simultaneously with a green notification:

DEBT CLEARED. ACCOUNT BALANCE RESTORED. FORECLOSURE CANCELED.

The board members stared at their phones in complete, disbelief.

"They... they did it," one board member whispered.

"The money is in the account!"

"The debt is gone!"

Harrison dropped to his knees, staring at the two bloodstained sisters standing in the middle of the ruined glass lobby.

"You saved the company..." Harrison stammered.

Isabella leaned heavily against Seraphina, breathing deeply through the severe pain in her chest.

She looked at the board members, then looked up at the massive corporate crest of Vance Enterprises mounted on the high wall.

"We didn't save your company, Harrison," Isabella said, her voice quiet but ringing with immense power.

"We took it."

Seraphina stepped forward, looking down at the trembling board members.

"Tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM," Seraphina declared firmly.

"You will announce the permanent dissolution of Victoria Vance and Julian Vance from all historical records of this corporation."

"And you will announce the appointment of the new co-CEOs."

Harrison looked between the two identical women.

"Co-CEOs?" he asked softly.

Isabella looked at Seraphina.

Seraphina looked back at Isabella.

For the first time in twenty-five years, the two halves of the torn bloodline were whole.

"Seraphina Vance and Isabella Vance," Isabella said, a faint, victorious smile appearing on her bloodied lips.

"The twin queens of Vance Enterprises."
