Chapter 11 - THE DEVIL'S DANCE

The rain poured heavily outside the abandoned warehouse.

Inside, the two identical sisters stood over the unconscious body of their older brother.

"He's not dead," Seraphina said, feeling the pulse on Julian's neck.

"He'll wake up in twenty minutes."

Isabella wiped a mixture of rain, sweat, and blood from her face.

Something inside her had snapped when she pulled that trigger.

The delicate, spoiled heiress was gone.

"What do we do with him?" Isabella asked coldly.

Seraphina looked at Isabella with newfound respect.

"We don't kill him."

"We use him."

Seraphina reached into Julian's coat pocket and pulled out his encrypted smartphone.

She grabbed his thumb and pressed it against the biometric scanner.

The screen unlocked instantly.

"He has master access to the Vance offshore accounts," Seraphina said, scrolling rapidly through the files.

"Every illegal bribe, every hidden account Victoria used to pay off the doctors..."

"It's all mirrored on his private server."

Isabella stepped closer, looking over Seraphina's shoulder.

"He was planning to frame Mother for all the financial fraud," Isabella realized.

"He was going to take the money and leave both of us with the debt."

"Exactly," Seraphina said.

She quickly initiated a full cloud transfer of Julian's phone data to her own secure drive.

"Now, we have both of them."

Suddenly, Julian let out a low groan on the floor.

His fingers twitched.

Seraphina stood up immediately.

"We need to go before his men regain consciousness."

"Where?" Isabella asked.

"My place," Seraphina said.

"It's the only place in this city where Victoria's money can't touch us."

Twenty minutes later, a sleek black sedan pulled into a dark, industrial alleyway on the outskirts of the city.

Marcus was waiting by the door of a converted concrete bunker.

When he saw Isabella stepping out of the car right behind Seraphina, he instantly pulled a handgun from his jacket.

"Seraphina! Step away from her!" Marcus warned, aiming the weapon at Isabella.

"Lower the gun, Marcus," Seraphina ordered firmly.

"She's with me now."

Marcus looked confused, switching his gaze between the two identical faces.

"She's a Vance, Seraphina. She tried to ruin you."

"She just saved my life," Seraphina said, walking past him into the bunker.

"And now she's going to help me destroy Victoria."

Isabella walked inside, looking around the space.

The room was filled with monitors, legal documents, news clippings, and facial tracking software.

It was an war room dedicated entirely to the destruction of her family.

"This is where you lived?" Isabella asked softly.

"This is where I planned," Seraphina corrected her.

Seraphina turned on the main screen array.

Images of Victoria Vance, board members, and corporate bank accounts lit up the room.

"Tomorrow morning, Victoria is holding an emergency board meeting at Vance Tower," Seraphina said.

"She managed to post bail using her private shell company."

"She is going to force the board to sell off 50 percent of the company's core assets to a foreign conglomerate to pay off her debts."

"She's liquidating," Isabella said, her eyes narrowing.

"She's going to take the cash and flee the country."

"Not if we stop her," Seraphina said.

"How?" Isabella asked.

Seraphina turned to look at Isabella, a dangerous smile spreading across her face.

"Tomorrow, Isabella..."

"You are going to attend that meeting as me."

"And I am going to attend that meeting as you."
