CHAPTER 7 – MY DAUGHTER REMEMBERED MORE

She simply offered crayons.
My daughter quietly drew our family.

Grandma holding both her wrists.
Bethany laughing.
Grandpa standing beside the door.
The psychologist gently asked,
"What was Grandpa doing?"
My daughter whispered,
"He counted."
May you like
"Every time Grandma squeezed harder."
Nobody in the room could breathe.
