Black SUVs stopped outside the clinic.
A distinguished older man stepped inside.
Richard Brooks.
Founder of Brooks Medical Technologies.
Emily's father.
One of California's wealthiest businessmen.
The entire hospital staff froze.
Richard walked straight to Daniel.
"Where's my daughter?"
Daniel lowered his head.
"I'm sorry."
Richard entered the ICU.
Seeing Emily unconscious...
He didn't cry.
He simply turned to the police detective.
"I want attempted murder charges."
Evelyn laughed nervously.
"That's ridiculous."
Richard looked at her.
"My daughter may never wake up."
