Chapter 2 - The Recording
Hospital security immediately locked down the hallway.
A supervisor pulled the surveillance footage.
Everyone gathered inside the security office.
The video began.
Emily stood near the clinic entrance.
Evelyn walked toward her.
They argued.
Then...
Without hesitation...
Evelyn shoved Emily with both hands.
Emily crashed backward.
Her head struck the marble corner with a sickening crack.
Silence filled the room.
Evelyn whispered,
"The camera angle makes it look worse..."
Then another monitor switched on.
A second camera.
Different angle.
Crystal clear.
No one spoke.
Daniel quietly walked out of the room.
