She threw a wad of wet trash into the waitress's face... then one move brought the entire ballroom to a standstill.

"Here."

"Take my garbage, servant."

The wealthy socialite sneered as she flung a filthy, soaking napkin across the ballroom.

She expected the waitress to lower her head and silently accept the humiliation.

After all, everyone in the room always did.

The napkin never hit its target.

The waitress caught it in one hand without even blinking.

The room grew strangely quiet.

The socialite smirked.

"You think you're too good to clean up after me?"

She stepped closer, ready to shove the waitress in front of hundreds of elite guests.

The waitress didn't take a single step back.

Instead, she calmly reached for the heavy silver serving tray resting on a nearby table.

One swift movement.

The tray swept low across the marble floor.

The woman's designer heels flew out from under her.

She crashed onto her back with a sickening thud.

A chorus of shocked gasps echoed through the grand ballroom.

Champagne glasses froze halfway to people's lips.

No one dared to move.

The waitress stood over the fallen woman, her expression cold and unreadable.

Then...

She slowly peeled off her black velvet glove.

An enormous pink diamond ring caught the crystal chandeliers and exploded with brilliant light.

May you like

Every face in the room turned pale.

Because everyone there recognized that ring.
