CHAPTER 4 — CELESTE'S LAST BETRAYAL

Celeste recovered first.
She pointed directly at Nathan.
"He forced me!"
"I only followed his orders!"
Nathan spun toward her in disbelief.
"You planned everything!"
"You created the shell companies!"
"You handled the offshore accounts!"
Celeste smiled coldly.
"And who signed every document?"
Nathan's face turned pale.
She had prepared for this.
Months earlier.
Secret emails.
Hidden recordings.
Private contracts.
Everything now pointed toward Nathan.
"You betrayed me..."
Nathan whispered.
Celeste leaned closer.
"I learned from the best."
Investigators handcuffed both of them.
Nathan struggled.
Celeste did not.
She simply adjusted her designer jacket and walked away.
Until another investigator stopped her.
"There is one more warrant."
She frowned.
"For what?"
The investigator opened another file.
"The murder of Daniel Brooks."
The smile disappeared from her face.
Nathan looked up.
"Murder?"
Jonathan answered quietly.
"Your mistress has been hiding far more secrets than you ever imagined."
