Chapter 7 - THE DOCTOR WHO KNEW THE TRUTH
Ethan tracked Samuel down.
But instead of attacking him, Samuel surrendered.
“I didn’t take Lily to hurt her.”
“Then why?”
Samuel revealed the truth.
Victor threatened his family.
He forced Samuel to cooperate.
Samuel had secretly protected Lily for years.
He was the reason Victor never found the hospital bracelet.
He was the reason Lily survived.
Ethan struggled to believe him.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
Samuel looked away.
“Because Victor had someone watching you.”
Then he revealed the biggest secret.
Amelia was not unconscious because of an accident.
Victor had kept her sedated.
Waiting for the day Ethan died.
Ethan’s anger exploded.
But Samuel warned him.
“Victor knows you found her.”
May you like
“He is moving her tonight.”
The rescue had become a race against time.
