Chapter 4: The Evidence Nobody Could Deny

Michael contacted his private investigator.

Within days, the truth started appearing.

Daniel had a history.

Previous complaints.

Previous victims.

But every accusation disappeared.

Why?

Because people were afraid.

Michael collected everything.

Messages.

Photos.

Witness statements.

Then came the final piece.

A hidden recording from the mansion security system.

Daniel cornering Emma in a storage room.

Threatening her.

Forcing her to stay silent.

Michael watched the footage with a clenched jaw.

He had built his reputation on protecting people.

And someone had been suffering under his own roof.

That night, he called Emma.

"We need to talk."

She looked terrified.

"Did he find out?"

"No."

"Then why?"

Michael placed the evidence in front of her.

Her hands covered her mouth.

For the first time, she saw proof.

She wasn't imagining it.

She wasn't exaggerating.

She wasn't alone.

"He will go to prison," Michael said.

Emma whispered:

"What if he comes back?"

May you like

Michael looked directly at her.

"He won't."
