Chapter 7: The Wedding That Finally Happened

Two years later

There was another wedding.

But this time, there were no secrets.

No hidden contracts.

No fake smiles.

Only love.

Isabella stood beneath the same kind of golden lights where her first wedding had almost destroyed her life.

But this time, she was happy.

Beside her stood Daniel, a man who loved her without knowing her bank account.

And sitting in the front row was Lily.

Wearing a beautiful dress.

Holding the same camera.

The priest smiled.

“Before we begin, does anyone have any reason why these two should not be married?”

Everyone laughed.

Then Lily slowly stood up.

The room became quiet.

She raised the camera.

Isabella smiled nervously.

“Lily?”

The girl smiled.

“Don’t worry.”

She pressed a button.

A recording played.

But this time

it wasn’t a confession.

It was Daniel’s voice.

“I promise I’ll protect her heart, not her money.”

Isabella covered her mouth as tears filled her eyes.

Everyone laughed and cried at the same time.

Because the camera that once destroyed a wedding

was now the reason a real one could begin.

And Lily learned something that day:
