Chapter 3: Blood Betrayal

Alejandro stared at the signature.
His hands shook for the first time that night.
"Diego..."
He refused to believe it.
Minutes later, security officers escorted Diego into the foyer.
He still looked calm.
Almost amused.
"So," Diego sighed, "I guess you finally figured it out."
Alejandro punched him before anyone could react.
Diego crashed across the marble floor.
"You helped kidnap my wife."
Diego wiped blood from his mouth and laughed.
"You always had everything."
"The company."
"The mansion."
"The perfect marriage."
"I deserved half of it."
Vivian stepped forward.
"It wasn't supposed to last this long."
"We only wanted Elena declared legally dead."
"Once that happened..."
"I would marry Alejandro."
"Everything would belong to us."
Alejandro's fists tightened.
"So you destroyed one woman's life..."
"...for money."
Neither of them denied it.
Instead, Diego smiled.
"You never noticed because you trusted family."
Alejandro looked at the servants surrounding them.
Every face carried the same expression.
Fear.
One elderly housekeeper suddenly stepped forward.
"I've waited three years for this."
She handed Alejandro a hidden flash drive.
"I recorded everything."
Vivian's face turned ghost white.
"No..."
The security chief inserted the drive into the mansion's media system.
The massive television came alive.
Video after video filled the screen.
Vivian screaming at Elena.
Diego threatening servants.
Forged passports.
Bribes.
Kidnapping plans.
Every crime.
Recorded.

Every servant silently began to cry.
Their nightmare was finally over.
