Father's Day arrived.
Emily walked into Ethan's house holding a small gift.
He looked surprised.
"This is for you."
Ethan shook his head.
"Emily..."
She smiled.
"I know you're not my daddy."
His eyes filled with tears.
"But daddy wanted me to have someone who would protect me."
She handed him the gift.
Inside was a picture.
