CHAPTER 3: The Family That Was Found Again

Six months later, the Carter family returned to the same hotel where everything began.

But this time, there was no sadness.

No confusion.

Only happiness.

The hotel hosted another charity gala.

The same ballroom.

The same golden lights.

The same place where one small act of kindness changed everything.

Daniel was no longer wearing old clothes.

He wore a dark blue suit matching Samuel's.

The two brothers stood together, laughing.

They were different.

But they were also the same.

Same smile.

Same eyes.

Same mark.

The birthmark that had once represented a painful mystery...

now represented love.

During the event, Isabel stepped onto the stage.

She looked at the crowd.

"When my son disappeared, I thought I had lost him forever."

The room became silent.

"But I learned something."

She looked at Samuel and Daniel.

"Sometimes life takes people away from us."

"Sometimes years are stolen."

"But love has a way of finding its path back home."

The guests applauded.

Samuel looked at Daniel.

"Do you think we'll always be brothers?"

Daniel smiled.

"We already were."

Samuel laughed.

"Even before we met?"

Daniel touched the small mark on his arm.

"Especially before we met."

The two brothers hugged.

And Isabel watched them with tears in her eyes.

Years ago, she thought the flood had taken her son away forever.

She was wrong.

The flood had only delayed their reunion.

Because some connections are stronger than time.

Some families can be separated.

Some memories can fade.

But some marks...

May you like

never disappear.

THE END
