Chapter 3 — The Secret Behind the False Accusation

As security escorted the blonde woman toward the front entrance, she suddenly stopped.
"You think you've won?"
She laughed bitterly.
"You still don't know why I did it."
Everyone turned.
The mansion fell silent once again.
She looked directly at the older woman.
"Three months ago... you changed your will."
The older woman's expression froze.
The blonde smiled through her tears.
"If the maid stayed here, she would eventually become the manager of your entire estate."
"She earned your trust."
"And I was going to lose everything."
Gasps echoed across the lobby.
The older woman slowly closed her eyes.
"So... you tried to destroy an innocent woman..."
"...because you were afraid of losing money?"
The blonde lowered her head.
She had no answer.
The man in the blue suit looked toward the security guards.
"Call the police."
"This is no longer a family matter."
Minutes later, flashing red and blue lights reflected across the mansion windows.
The blonde woman left the estate in handcuffs.
