Part 3: The Enemy Who Created the Lie

The next morning, Victoria made a decision.

She would not hide.

She would not protect her reputation.

She would expose the truth.

For the first time, she and Isabel stood together.

Not as strangers.

Not as two women from different worlds.

But as sisters.

Victoria used her influence to investigate the old hospital records.

Meanwhile, Isabel searched through the few documents she had from the orphanage.

And what they discovered shocked them.

There was a hidden file.

A file that proved Isabel had been intentionally removed from her family.

Inside was a photograph.

A photograph of the woman who gave birth to them.

Their mother.

Her name was Sofia.

She had spent years searching for her missing daughter.

But before she could reveal the truth, she died under mysterious circumstances.

Victoria stared at the picture with tears in her eyes.

“She never stopped looking for us…”

Isabel touched the photograph gently.

“She loved us even when she had nothing.”

But their investigation did not remain secret for long.

Richard Valmont discovered that the twins were searching for answers.

And he was terrified.

Because if the truth came out, his entire empire would collapse.

That night, Victoria received an anonymous message.

“Stop digging into the past, or you will lose everything.”

For the first time in years, Victoria felt afraid.

Not for herself.

But for Isabel.

Because now she had something worth protecting.

Her sister.

The next day, Richard appeared publicly with a smile.

He pretended to be surprised by the rumors.

“What a ridiculous story,” he told reporters.

“Someone is trying to destroy my reputation.”

But Victoria knew better.

She had spent years studying powerful people.

And she recognized fear.

Richard wasn’t angry.

He was scared.

During a private meeting, Victoria confronted him.

“You stole my sister.”

Richard smiled coldly.

“You should be grateful. You lived a better life because of it.”

Victoria’s expression hardened.

“No.”

She stepped closer.

“You destroyed two innocent lives because you wanted to hide your crimes.”

Richard leaned forward.

“You think people will believe you?”

Victoria smiled.

“Yes.”

Then she placed a folder on the table.

Inside were hospital records, witness statements, and evidence proving everything.

Richard’s face changed.

Because for the first time in thirty years…

He had no way to escape.
