CHAPTER 3 — The Truth No One Knew

The headlines exploded before sunset.

Billionaire CEO Removed in Emergency Vote.

Unknown Female Founder Revealed.

Aurora Holdings Takes Full Control.

Reporters surrounded the villa gates.

Television helicopters circled overhead.

Nathan sat alone inside his luxury car parked across the street.

No one answered his calls anymore.

Not his lawyers.

Not his friends.

Not even his own brother.

Vanessa finally broke the silence.

"You told me you owned everything."

Nathan stared blankly through the windshield.

"I thought I did."

Vanessa laughed bitterly.

"So... you used me."

Nathan looked at her.

"You used me too."

For several long seconds...

Neither of them spoke.

Then Vanessa quietly opened the passenger door.

"I don't stay with men who have nothing."

She stepped out.

Without another word...

She disappeared into the crowd of reporters.

Nathan watched her leave.

For the first time in his life...

He understood what loneliness truly felt like.

Back inside the villa, Elena received an old wooden box from her family attorney.

Inside were faded documents.

The first investment contract.

The original business license.

A handwritten note from her late father.

"Real power doesn't belong to the loudest person in the room. It belongs to the one who never needs to prove it."

A single tear escaped Elena's eye.

Not because of Nathan.

Because she wished her father had lived long enough to see this day.

May you like

She gently closed the box.

"I kept my promise."
