My Husband Cut the Rescue Rope While I Was Pregnant—Then the Woman He Pushed Off the Cliff Exposed His Family’s Darkest Secret
The runaway carriage was seconds away from plunging off a cliff.
Inside, a pregnant woman screamed for help.
Then her mother-in-law did the unthinkable.
She jumped to safety at the last possible second—
leaving her pregnant daughter-in-law trapped inside.
The carriage flew over the edge.
But somehow, the woman survived.
Her hands caught a tree branch jutting from the cliffside, leaving her hanging hundreds of feet above the rocks.
An elderly maid rushed forward and threw down a rope.
She was almost safe.
Then Daniel arrived.
For one desperate second, she thought her husband had come to save her.
She was wrong.
His mother quietly placed a knife in his hand.
Daniel looked at his pregnant wife.
Then at the rescue rope.
And cut it.
Before the maid could stop him, Daniel shoved the old woman over the cliff too.
Now both women were hanging from the same cracking branch.
The pregnant woman looked up at her husband.
“Daniel… our baby…”
He didn't move.
Then came a terrible sound.
CRACK.
The branch ripped free from the cliff.
And both women disappeared into the darkness below.
