Chapter 7: The Girl Who Found Her Way Home

One year later…

the Whitmore mansion was gone from the headlines.

Cassandra was sentenced for fraud, kidnapping, and falsifying records.

The woman who believed money could rewrite reality finally learned something:

Truth does not need wealth.

It only needs time.

Ava opened a small childcare center for mothers who had nowhere else to turn.

The sign above the door read:

“Every Child Deserves a Family.”

The same words from that night.

But now they meant something different.

On opening day, Lily walked beside her holding her hand.

“Mommy?”

“Yes, sweetheart?”

“Were you always looking for me?”

Ava smiled through tears.

“Every single day.”

Lily squeezed her hand.

“I knew you would find me.”

Ava looked at the little girl she had lost…

and somehow found again.

Because sometimes people can steal years.

They can steal memories.

They can even steal names.

But they can never steal the bond between a mother and her child.

And after three years of being erased…

Ava Carter finally came home.
