Alejandro Thought the Nanny Hurt His Daughter… Until the Security Footage Revealed Who Tried to Poison Her

Sofia’s scream cut through the peaceful silence of the house like a blade.

Alejandro shot up from his office chair, his heart pounding as he ran through the hallway. He didn’t know what had happened, but every instinct inside him screamed that his daughter was in danger.

When he reached the dining room, the sight in front of him made his blood run cold.

His little girl was sitting on the wooden floor, crying uncontrollably. Her beige dress was stained, her tiny hands were trembling, and broken pieces of a plate were scattered around her.

Food covered the floor.

Then his eyes locked onto Lucia.

The young nanny stood only a few steps away from Sofia, frozen in place. Her beige apron was still tied over her light blue shirt. Tears filled her eyes, and her face had gone completely pale.

She looked terrified.

But Alejandro didn’t see fear.

He saw his daughter crying.

And he reacted without thinking.

“Who touched my daughter?” he demanded, his voice shaking with anger.

The room went silent.

Sofia looked up at him through her tears. Her little hand slowly lifted and pointed directly at Lucia.

“Her…” she whispered. “She threw my food…”

Those words were enough.

Alejandro’s expression changed instantly.

The man who had trusted Lucia for months, the woman he had allowed to care for the most precious person in his life, now saw her standing beside his crying daughter.

He walked toward her with a fury that made the servants watching from the kitchen step back.

“No one hurts my daughter,” he said coldly.

Lucia immediately raised both hands.

“Sir, please… I didn’t hurt her,” she pleaded. “You have to listen to me.”

But Alejandro was already kneeling beside Sofia.

He checked her arms.

Her face.

Her hair.

“Did she push you?” he asked softly. “Did she do anything to hurt you?”

Sofia only cried harder.

She was too scared to explain.

She kept pointing toward the broken plate.

The moment became even more confusing when someone appeared at the dining room entrance.

Valeria.

She walked in wearing a flawless white outfit, expensive golden jewelry, and a perfectly worried expression.

“My God… what happened here?” she asked, placing a hand over her chest.

But the moment Lucia saw her, everything changed.

Her eyes widened.

The fear on her face became something much deeper.

Pure terror.

“Don’t let her come near Sofia!” Lucia shouted.

Alejandro turned sharply.

“What did you just say?”

Lucia struggled to breathe.

“I saw the plate when it came out of the kitchen,” she said, her voice trembling. “Something was wrong. It smelled strange.”

Everyone froze.

“Sofia was about to eat it,” Lucia continued. “I grabbed it from her hands because I knew something was wrong. That’s why it fell.”

Valeria let out a small laugh.

A cold, mocking laugh.

“How convenient,” she said. “The child cries, the food is on the floor, and suddenly you create a story to save yourself?”

Alejandro’s jaw tightened.

Lucia swallowed hard.

She knew no one believed her.

Not yet.

Then she slowly raised her shaking hand and pointed toward the corner of the kitchen.

“Check the security footage.”

Her voice became stronger.

“Then you’ll see who really touched your daughter’s food.”

Silence filled the room.

Everyone turned.

Above the kitchen doorway, a small security camera blinked with a red recording light.

Alejandro stared at it.

Then he looked back at Lucia.

The broken plate.

His terrified daughter.

And finally…

Valeria.

For the first time, he noticed something he couldn’t ignore.

The color had disappeared from Valeria’s face.

Her perfect expression was gone.

A strange feeling settled in Alejandro’s chest.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.

“Bring me the security system phone,” he ordered, his voice suddenly cold.

Valeria stepped forward quickly.

“Alejandro, this is ridiculous,” she said. “You’re really going to believe a nanny over me?”

Lucia’s eyes filled with tears.

But she didn’t look away.

“I’m not asking you to believe me,” she whispered.

“I’m asking you to see the truth.”

Sofia, still shaking, wrapped her arms tightly around her father’s leg.

And in that moment, Alejandro felt his entire world shift.

Because he realized something terrifying.

Someone hadn’t just tried to frame Lucia.

Someone had used his daughter.

Someone had tried to hurt Sofia.

And the person standing closest to the family…

Was the one he trusted the most.

Alejandro looked at the camera.

The red light continued blinking.

Recording everything.

And what appeared on that footage would reveal a truth far worse than he ever imagined.

May you like

Because the person who poisoned Sofia’s plate…

Had never planned for anyone to discover the secret hidden inside that house.
